Jared Minjares Obituary: The Hermosa Beach Police Department’s acting captain, Mick Gaglia, informed reporters on Tuesday night that Jared Minjares, 24, died on Monday night, December 18, 2023, on Hermosa Beach from what they believe to be multiple self-inflicted chest stab wounds. The cops were summoned to the Galleria condominiums in the 400 block of Second Street on Monday night about six o’clock.

They were contacted due to information they had received about a screaming woman in that area. Minjares, together with another man and two women, were found on the grounds of one of the apartments. In addition, drugs were found.

Gaglia claimed that they knew each other. There was a significant disagreement. The person in question, according to the police, cut himself with a knife in the end.

A weapon that is reportedly believed to have been used in the stabbing was found at the crime scene. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will be the one looking into the circumstances surrounding the death, according to Gaglia, who claims that the investigation is still ongoing.

There were no arrests made. However, the police withheld the reason behind the other man’s hospitalization from them when he was brought to the site.
