Lola Vice Reveals Real Advice She Received from Shawn Michaels

It’s been a couple of years since Shawn Michaels has been in charge of NXT. Since taking over the brand, he has done a reasonably decent job of bringing the show back to its glory days.

As a booker of NXT, Michaels has gotten the opportunity to work with a lot of young athletes. The young stars have the best teacher to learn from considering Shawn’s in-ring acumen.

Shawn’s impact on their skills is evident in their character development. One such young star who has shown a lot of promise in recent weeks is Lola Vince. Lola won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and is only one step away from cashing in her Breakout contract.

During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Lola Vice opened up about working with Shawn Michaels and even revealed the best advice he’s given her.

“The best [advice she’s been given] is to be me. I don’t have to do more. I don’t have to do less. Be me, be who I am truly and that will come out with my character, which is what I do every week.”
