Even though Jemmye's life did not follow the expected path, she was well on her way. Jemmye graduated from Aberdeen High School as valedictorian of her class. She subsequently moved on to Mississippi State University, where she was elected president of the Pre-Law Society.
In 2018, she launched a YouTube channel. At first, it appeared that the channel would centre on her personal life, but she changed her mind.
